Exeter City Korfball Club
Korfball: a friendly, sociable, fast-paced, and exciting team sport played by men & women.
We have regular training sessions on Tuesday & Thursday evenings.
New and experienced players are always welcome! Your first 2 sessions are free.
What is Korfball?
Korfball is a fast-paced team sport which is similar to basketball and netball.
It is a mixed-gender sport. Teams are made up of 8 players - 4 men and 4 women. Men mark each other and women mark each other.
The aim of the game is to score more than your opponents. You score by getting the ball through the yellow basket (called a korf).
Everyone attacks and defends. If you start in attack, after two goals are scored you move into defence, and vice versa.
Korfball is sociable, fun, and great fitness. You can play competitively or just for fun!
